Background
Peter Moss Leukaemia MedTech Research CIC is a Community Interest Company based in the United Kingdom that works on open-source technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things for early detection of Leukaemia and MedTech.
In 2018 Peter Moss, the grandfather of Innov8 Digital Media and Peter Moss Leukaemia MedTech Research CIC founder Adam Milton-Barker, was diagnosed terminally ill with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. One month before his prognosis, Peter was given the all-clear in a routine blood test with no signs of Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. Adam was convinced that there must have been signs in the routine blood test that could have identified the disease.
In 2019, Peter passed away after a year long battle with the disease. In 2020 Asociación de Investigacion en Inteligencia Artificial Para la Leucemia Peter Moss was registered in Barcelona, Spain where it operated for 1 year before Adam returned to the UK and registered Peter Moss Leukaemia MedTech Research CIC.
The Brief
The front-end of the website needed to provide information about the CIC and team; showcase events, projects, news and articles; provide access to the CIC's open information database; provide a way for volunteers to apply for positions at the CIC; provide a way for the CIC to crowdfund; and provide a way for the community to interact with each other.
The back-end of the website needed to provide the functionality for the team to manage projects, events and articles; and allow management to manage the team.
